the bolt pattern is similar- 2 bolts offset.Seems I've heard that the gear reduction starter(63? to 90?) would fit most earlier apps for direct drive, but I don't know if they meant flat heads.Maybe some body's got a rebuilders catalogue? Or a bunch of used parts to try? (ford had 2 basic, starters for years- a 2 bolt and 3 bolt maybe chrysler was also hesitant to re-engineer something so basic and kept a lot of reverse application)
