If you do a lot of turning with the bus, that plus chamber, is causing the wear, and the faster you go around corners, the faster the wear. If the tread is feathered on it's back side, that's an indication of to much toe-in. Toe-out will not prevent the wear. Inspect king pins for wear and find a shop experienced with that model bus that can do work on it. PW's have the same problem. Unloaded, wider at top of tires than at bottom, and max loaded GVW, tires are fairly vertical. It's how the truck is designed and this is the result:
35mph - 100% normal tire wear
40mph - 80% of normal tire wear
45mph - 72% of normal tire wear
50mph - 61% of normal tire wear
55mph - 51% of normal tire wear
Yep, I'm a 37mph cruzer on back roads.
