elect fuel pump. dont turn your back on them

started up the truck & walked away. Halfway down the drive wayI hear truck stall and luckily head back to see what happened. an inline glass fuel filter has come apart and starved the motor of fuel but that elect fuel pump was merrily emptying my fuel tank all over the street. all in all it could have much worse thank God for small favors. breaking down infront of my own house. I'm with Dodge Boys, elect fuel pumps dont trust em. in all fairness the E pump was an add on from previous owner. I'm sure vehicles built with them have some type of safety shutoff
