Check them out dimensionally before you start if you can. Seen more than one that's been bent/tweaked/modified at some point, mine included.
Got it all blasted and powder coated and re-assembled and found out one of the support bars had been cut down and re-drilled when the frame extensions got bent, now it won't fit the new extensions and I need to replace it. Would have saved some time and money to know that before I started.
Also there's a good thread over on Gordon's site of a very extensive rebuild by another member that's got some great info in it, including a big discussion on the correct type of lubricant to use in them.
Otherwise you'll probably need to go find a good auto parts store that has shim stock. Your average Advanced doesn't cary it and it's cheaper than buying a bunch of pre-cut gaskets for setting the gear lash from VPW or someplace, just takes more time.
