Mike,
I posted signs on both doors "Feel free to open the doors" When folks with kids opened them, or if they still looked unsure if they should, I asked if the kids wanted to sit in the truck. I had plenty of kids in and out, even a few of the moms climbed in. I only saw one other car, a barn find Model A that was encouraging folks to get in.
I think the guy with the beautiful Lincoln next to me thought I was nuts, (maybe he is onto something!)
