All the warnings are sound. Radial arm saws are inherently dangerous. I have an old Rockwell/Delta that I bought used 40 years ago. It has a toggle switch that allows you to switch from 110 to 220, according to your source available. I use it mainly to cut scraps of wood into pieces that will fit the wood stove in my shop. Hitachi, Makita, De Walt, and others have made the radial arm nearly obsolete with their miter saws.
