I currently own a Bobcat model 331 mini excavator. In my view, this is the perfect size machine, because it has incredible power for it's size, and at only 7,000 lbs. I can easily tow it around w/ my pick up. A 10,000lb machine, requires a larger tow vehicle in my view. In closing, you must get the hyd. thumb. Truly a fantastic investment. Have fun! Jack.
