The stuff I have is a spiral wrap, like the stuff some people use for lacing wiring harnesses. It's 3 overlapping layers of rubber-impregnated fabric, wound in a spiral. I put it over the fuel line, but I'll have to wait for a hot day next summer to see how it works.
