it shouldn't be so tight to get them in and out. I would take some 220 to the hole and clean it up real good. but you wil get sand paper cust in the oil pan so maybe try to stuff a rage with grease on it downthe hole to catch toe dust or change the oil when done. or polish down the distributor and clean the hole in block real good with brake clean.
