Well, knowing I'm going to have to pull the engine to get a good look at what I'm dealing with, I started pulling apart the doghouse and what's gotta come out/off. Tomorrow, I should have the rest of the front end off and out of the way. One good part about all of this trouble, that alternator won't be going back on there. I'm also going to do the electronic slant six/small block distributor conversion while I'm at it. I'll keep you all posted on how the head bolt issue turns out. I'm crossing my fingers!
