I was removing it to mill .060 off of it at the shop. The poor 230 was straining like hell trying to pull my hill, so I have been trying to free up/gain as much HP as I can. The electric fan made a few HP difference. Making a true PCV system helped GOBS. I bet it made every bit of a five HP difference. I still had to add the electric fuel pump (maybe 1-2 HP there), which I was in mid-install when I broke the bolts, finish the adapter for the Holley Bugspray carb, bolt that on, and mill the head. I was hoping to gain 22 horsepower total. That would've been around an even 100. A little snag at the moment...
