we lost power but a generator keeps things going as if it was a windy rainy day. when i put the switches on from the gen box the smoke alarm went off. i was poking and pushing with a screw driver and finely it went bzzzzpop and the noise was gone. just put a battery operated one in. not really a lot of wind. mabey we have not gotton to the bad part yet.
