That's the truth. When we first moved to Idaho in '71, maybe 2% of the vehicles had 4 wheel drive. The idea of not driving on snow, ice, or freezing rain was never even mentioned. Now 2% of the cars are NOT 4x4 or fwd, and most are computerized fuel injection. Tires are designed specifically for snow,ice, etc. And the Idaho State Police, the Sheriff, and the local police are always warning to "stay home, don't go out!" Reminds me of the childrens' book about chicken little..."the sky is falling...the sky is falling!!"
