If the carb was flooding and or dumping fuel the truck would blow black SMOKE like a Big Cummins. If the pump looks good try another oil change. I have seen 1 old engine that was really dirty inside the oil always looked gray in color even with low miles on her. Take it on a run about 45 to 50 miles a hour. have fun. Bill
