The hydroboost does not activate the brakes. The Master cylinder activates the brakes. The Hydroboost just amplifies the input mechanical force to the Master Cylinder piston. I have never done any work with 6x6's and thus dont know if the master cylinder i use on my conversions will supply needed volume. I use a master cylinder with a 1&5/16" bore. The NAPA number is 39435 as used on 1991 Chev V3500.
