OK. I installed the newly rebuilt E7S1 and got it dialed in for a decently smooth 550-600rpm idle. After a decent warm-up, I press the pedal to the floor and the rpm starts up smoothly, then abruptly drops to just above idle. Do I need to adjust the governor? I can't drive the truck if I can't maintain power.
Oh, the minor loss? I think the starter solenoid went south on me. I'll let the unit cool down then try again later.
