On ours, with the pedal to the metal, the truck would only do 94 MPH at 4 grand.
Once when I held it there for too probably many miles, the heat got to the rotor metal spring and it drooped. Man I thought I'd busted something bad, but as soon as I realized no spark, a quick check, and I puled the center rotor wire up and fired her right back up and floored it again. The 20 mile round trip from the field to the shop and back was a fast one, but when your broke down and burning day-lite you do what you have to.
