It has 'ford' and a 'not ford' positions. You don't have a Ford... ;^)
Or it could be a PCV valve prob.
Or, totally unrelated: My died whenever I coasted to a stop and hit the brake, after installing a /6 dist and electronic module. Coil? Carb? Pump? Lines?
Turned out there was an extra pink wire, not needed for that module, I left it hanging under the dash. Step on the brakes, the pedal hit the end of the pink wire, shorting it to ground. A piece of tape fixed my 'carburetor' problem.
