Due to having oil contaminated with water in my 218, I've got the head off my engine. Yes the head gasket is blown between 3 & 4. I've blown the head gasket in this place before. I'm thinking that I may have a problem with the head. If the water passage between 3 & 4 is blocked, is it possible to unblock it with a piece of wire? Or do I need to have it hot tanked to clean it out?
What I'm still trying to figure out is how did about a gallon and a half of coolant end up in the crankcase. When I drained the coolant from the engine block drain, I got about a gallon of water, plus about another gallon from the radiator.
Any suggestings
Robert
