OK flat fender experts. Assembling my '54. Using a '55 motor and flywheel. '54 bellhousing and starter. starter locks in flywheel. Yes, motor turns freely by hand, trans in neutral, all shafts disconnected,
tap starter-it slowly disengages. Any difference in 54 and 55? Starter operates fine on workbench.
