reliability and economy. I dont V8 my d300 cuz it is hard to beat 17 mpg loaded or not. 15 if I run it over 60 on the highway. to convert to diesel would take 15 years worth of gasoline to do and v8s just suck gas. I dont tow anymore just haul so the slant is perfect.
