Wiper dead ?

My 2001 Dodge 2500 4x4 was started this morning with the wiper switch rotated to clear the view. Dead, nothing, while the washer gushed all over the windshield.

I've checked the fuse in the cab, OK with the lead to it still hot. The wiper relay under the hood was rotated with other relays that are working--still dead.

Any suggestions appreciated. PS This is the prime mover for my PW.
