I'm working on a 75 crew cab and it needed the drivers side floors replaced. I got a repair panel for the front which went in fine. The rear floor was also bad and after several suggestions I used a front floor pan today. This panel wasn't made for this but it covered the area that was rusted. I made a paper pattern which I used to outline the the patch. With a little massaging it fit fine. I just finished welding when I ran out of argon for the mig. With some brushable seam sealer the floors will solid and sealed again. Now to get on with the primer and sanding.
