had a dead hole in the 48 so I stopped by
Larry's shop to get his advice he told me to
call his friend Scott to come to the place and take a look at the truck so Scott did
make a "house (ranch) call" and tore it down
found #5 exhaust valve had sucked up thru the
keepers (keepers still in the retainer) then
randy (machinest from Larry's shop) came out
to inspect - they removed all the valves
the exhaust guides were toast so i ordered
the parts needed for the repair when they
arrive randy will come out install guides and
grind the seats - he did the valves at the shop then Scott will put it back together
one of the perks of living in an AG area
house call equipment repair is commonplace
