You can see how long the tail is here. It looks like a pro welder did it; I see what I think is the original end of the side frame rail about 4" behind the back crossmember holding the pintle. This area on the side rail is fishplated.
With this long tail it was "fun" trying to load her as well as get her off the trailer.
Anyone with a W500, do your side frame rails extend about 4" past the rear crossmember?
