I have a Defender 90 and love it. Lots of offroad mods. Here is a link to ECR. Expensive but its a nice look at whats possible. The galvy frame is a very popular upgrade. I think they are available from a number of sources. Another are to look ar it the firewall bulkhead. LRs have a lot of aluminium (as they say over there) bits bolted to steel. This is where rist becomes an issue. Lots of nice little 2.25 petrol 88s out there in the $5-$8K range.
