Cut the center out on the lathe, usign a threading tool. The undercut was such that when I reversed the center, the part I cut out was too big to go in the hole. Turned the hole a bit, center was snap fit, TIG back together.
PITA, but I did finish up the bracketry this weekend, instead of waiting until Tuesday to get stuff. Helitool recommends an industrial pulley, but since I have the Volvo flange, I would have bought some aluminum and turned one to suit my needs.
