I have seen several of the 8 lug D100 Town Wagons like Mike's, and a few of the big knuckle Dana 44 W100s. Every time I get someone claiming they have a 3/4 ton Town Wagon or Town Panel, a check of the VIN shows it to be a 1/2 ton. Dodge just built some heavy duty without changing the designation, mostly it seems for various government agencies.

Neat truck, that would make a great donor for a 1960 W500!
