No wonder there is no spark .The distributer is seized . Maybe 400 miles on the thing . Stripped the gear . Turns out I have another distributer that is of course missing the drive gear . This is not the first time that the distributer has seized in this thing . Last time was about 25 years ago .
Guess I get to pull the valve covers and look for seized valves and bent push rods too .
Thanks to Steve G for the tip . After working on vehicles all day long my brain goes into park when it comes to some of my own bits of transportation.
