I guess I failed to mention that I personally didn't do the the install, but that my trusted retired mechanic nieghbor did. At the time that the bleeder housing failed, I was out of town for the weekend. I checked with him to see what he all took off and reinstalled. I will recheck the fuses and check the backup lamps. The heat guage does work now, but it didn't at first so we sprayed the connection and it works now. I believe that he used the oldtemp switch.
