Thanks guys for the information. I was wondering if maybe some of the earlier PW's (I have a '48) might have come with plain glass.
I had the unfortunate experience of riding in the front seat of a '32 Chevy when the windshield was shattered by a water balloon thrown from an oncoming car. Still have a nice scar on my face.
I see on Wikipedia that Ford began using laminated glass in windshields in 1919. I had always thought that the windshield in the '32 Chevy was original. But, now I wonder.
