Tthis morning maybe an hour out of Fairfield I'm passed by Julie and Brian Belanger (M37) who tell me my rear driver's side tyre is low.... so I slow down and ask whether they think I'll make it to Burlington - maybe was the answer... within 5 minutes the tyre blew but as I was driving slowly no damage and easy stop on the side.
Brian must have felt it as he called at that moment and they turned around and came back to change the tyre to the ORIGINAL spare which had rescued me on the way TO Fairfield. I followed them all the way to Coldwater Mi where they live and made it home safely. As I'm pulling into my driveway my neighbour pulls up and tells me excitedly "Ewa your rear passenger brake light is not working!" - well, that's the least of my worries!!!!
So thanks to Brian for rescuing me.
Otherwise the ride was uneventful.... and my cat is very happy to have me home.
The Rally was great as always - the rides at the Kerr farm awesome - thanks guys! and am really looking forward to next year!
