I heard somewhere that the wheels on my 1/2 ton Military Dodge were split rims, but now I'm not so sure. It may not make any difference anyway because when it comes time to have new tires mounted, I'll have to leave the identification and expetise to someone at a tire company and after all that thought and worry, I feel somewhat relieved of any responsibility to name names.
