I had the box with column and wheel standing wheel up in the corner. Knocked it over, and it shattered. It is repairable with bondo, and always had cracks, and the typical turns-your-hands-black oxidation.
But I'm not posting this just to sing the blues. I'm wondering about pulling a mold off it, and re-casting the metal rod core into new 'plastic'. Something fiber or metal filled, stable and strong. Hard polyurethane?
Would you pay umm something in excess of $100? You break the old plastic off, shipping both ways, might add up to near $200...
