I've had decent luck with dryer sheets. At least they have never made a nest out of them yet! I normally set traps around with cheese or peanut butter, they seem to be not able to resist that stuff. I shy away from the poisons as if they eat it and get sick to die, My luck would be for their final resting place to be in the vehicle. A well trained "mouser" cat is nice to if it stays outside.
