Well I fabricated a wrench, practically became one with the engine, and still could not get the bolts off the fan of my 68 WM300. I am planning on removing the grill, hood, and the top of the front end over the radiator, then the radiator. I figure in the long run, it will actually be faster and result in a better job. This will be the first time any of this is dis-assembled. The truck has only 9000 miles on it, and is almost 100% original. It is a former fire truck.
Does anyone have any tips on taking the front end apart? I will replace the hoses, and belt while it is apart.
