Every banjo fitting adds four more gasket surfaces too- both sides of two copper washers. All new. And bleders, brake switches, hose ends. And all have the possiblilty of grits and grime making a bad seal.
But a compressed gas leak test is not that hard to do, and ought to show fluid leaks much better- gas is 10,000 times as 'leaky' as fluid.
