Sitting here in Dalton, GA ....
Talked to the gal at the hotel desk
Come to find one of the major tornadoes
destroyed a town a few miles from here
and killed quite a few folks
Thinking about Joplin, MO ...
The Flying J parking lot I spent so many nights sleeping at - its' gone
sleeping at
Ironically - I started hauling full time
in September 2009
Been thru (2) of the worst Winters
and Springs I can remember back to back
I always talk to folks around the country
about the weather - among other things
Seems even the old timers in their 80's
and 90's can't remember weather this
bad two years in a row
I have to check weather every day to see
where the hail - toradoes - destruction
is gonna hit next
Anyone remember two years in a row
with nationwide weather this severe?
