Even my daily driver only gets 5,000 miles per year. So it wouldn't take much over the rivets for me to put a disc back in.
And I'm an incrementalist too- no sense having a new disc when I don't even know whether the engine, tranny, rear end is any good.
But YMMV, depending on your own socio-economic situation...
