Has anyone got a reliable source for a 98+ 4x4 NV4500 with the 4 bolt top?? Mine exploded today :(
The case cracked right near one of the bolt ears & I lost all my oil on the freeway. It was funny...no noise..I was in cruise at about 70mph & it just popped out of cruise & I was coasting. I thought it popped out of gear but it was still in OD. I determined what I thought was a broken input shaft but then I found oil everywhere. I pulled it out this morning & there's nothing left. Case cracked..input shaft broken & looks like the bearings were put in a forge they're so melted!!
Anyway, I'm looking for a complete unit that I can buy but not interested in buying from an Ebay seller using Chinese components.
Anyone know anyone reputable that has one ready to ship? DC in Medford...do you have anything in stock?
