Yea, I know what your saying. I had the same done the first time on the M, and when I slipped it's clutch, had a new one built and the throw out plate checked.

I didn't measure, but yes the rivet heads were much closer then the other end of the rivets.

I'll likely have 5 hours in road time to get the clutch re-built, and was looking for others thought. May call the shop and see if I can get lucky, and get it done in one trip.
