Radial Tires have a six (6) year life span
and should be removed from service when that
time is reached the week and year of production can be found on the last four (4)
digits of the DOT number
lowering the air will cause the tire to heat
up not a good thing
an old tireman's check of inflation is to air
the tires cold - drive for about 10 miles or
so and check the air - if the air pressure has built up over 10% then the cold (starting) air pressure was too low
