Front hose would be my guess.
Had the same problem on mine last year.
Left front and center hose from cross member to axle were shot.
Three new hoses and all works as advertised now.
Also changed out the rear one.
Sounds like a long day and fun trip except for sweating out the ride home.
Hate it when that happens!
