Al, I think that you are pretty right on, though one can sometimes, as other mention, get lucky. I recently purchased a 50 b-2-pw which spent its life as a firetruck for 4,500.00. It came w/ winch & bed but non-original rear fenders. Last owner was ex-military mechanic who appears to have done consirable resto work to suspension, bearings, etc. Very little rust, but I already have approx 6,000.00 in truck w/ lots yet to do. I agree that these things are only going up in value.
