I now have a new electrical oil pressure sender unit, a new K&N oil filter (and oil change), and a new T block the electrical sender unit sits on, with a new mechanical oil pressure guage. I put all that on today. The old electrical pressure sender unit must have been bad, on my stock electrical guage, the pressure now reads about 3/4 way over cold, about 1/2 way over (middle of guage) hot at highway speed, and about 1/3 way over hot at idle. I have never had oil pressure reading like that on the stock guage since I have owned the truck. The mechanical guage reads about 40 or 45 lbs. cold, and looked like about 20 lbs hot at idle. I still need to take the mechanical nylon line loose at the T block and re-do it. It is dripping oil, guess I tightened the nut on the ferrel too much. Or not enough. I learned real quick it is much easier to work on the T block at the sender unit by taking off the glow plug timer unit, at least I think that is what that was. Had to unhook the batteries first. So, with good oil pressure, what are my chances I have a bad bearing at the end of a rod??????????? Like I said, I own a WM300 and I know this is a Dodge site and I love the WM300 and this site, but I need all the help I can get, hope I get a reply and thanks in advance.
