I think it was standard equipment on all Power Wagons. The valve is locatced on the bottom front center of your lower seat cushion. If there, the end-bent-down metal control lever sticks out at the center front of the lower seat cushion's bottom edge. In theroy, it controls the amounts of air wheezing in and out of the adjustable opening on each bounce as the driver and passenger get thrown into the air and land again on the lower seat cushion. Adjusted correctly, you can experience what Alan Greenspan calls a "soft landing." If this valve is not there, then most likely the wooden bottom of your lower seat cushion has been replaced.
