most modern engine\transmissions mount with 2 engine and 1 on the trans itself. i put a 440\np435 in my 55 pickup and my 57 panel. in the pu i fabbed a mount that used a rubber isolater that bolted to the trans. did your old bell mount on each side to a x member? if it did, then i can send a drawing of what i used to mount the trans in my 57.
