...Have you ever heard of a Brownie,,2 and 3 speed brownies are what you are trying to imagine..these units came in logging trucks and other trucks of the same size,,find one and build a hanger bracket to stuff it between the framerails and turn a 5 speed with a 3 speed brownie into a 15 speed..truckers use them for when they get out onto the freeway and want speed. I'm in the process of purchasing an old international truck that has a 3 speed Brownie right now,, the guy wants $300.00 for the whole truck and all I want is the brownie,,and it runs good,,,believe me they are worth alot more,,,I know another guy that has one and he tells me that he paid $900.00 for it and that was cheap!!! Doing that reverse transmission is sort of a goofy idea I think, I have never seen it done myself,,maybe it does work I don't know.............Britt in Cool.
