You will not find a refrence to the max diameter for the brake drums. They were not really legally concerned about such things when they were made. I am not sure when the Feds started requiring the max diameter to be cast into brake drums and disks. As for the bonding the braking material to the shoes, it depends on the manufacturer or reliner that happend to do your shoes.
