I was shocked when I checked my fuel economy for the 1st time on my 99 2500 diesel 5spd with 3:54 gears, I used to have a 90 with a 5spd and 3:54 gears. the 90 got much better mileage. the 99 gets about 14-15 mpg, I have a lead foot also. mostly 70 on the highway and 50 everywhere else. I took a trip to NJ from Ct with an empty car trailer (the guy wanted to much for the PW )both ways and got 12 mpg.
